A Tuffet in the making…

Last Friday I spent 4 hours learning how to assemble the covering for a tuffet.  This next Friday I will learn how to upholster and finish it.  I can’t wait.  The class is offered at Thimble Pleasures in Chapel Hill.  Later that day, my sister made me aware of a wonderful web site that sells beautiful tuffets – Mackenzie-Childs.  I especially like the wonderfully decorative painting of the feet.  Have some fun exploring this web site.

Here is the completed first 1/8 of the tuffet covering.  Gotta get stitchin’ to finish the next 7/8ths.
